Candidates must possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical) from a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India.
The minimum age limit is 21 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years as of the crucial date specified in the official notification.

- Widow/Divorcee: No upper age limit
