PTCUL AE Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution established by law in India. A minimum of 65% aggregate marks (or equivalent CGPA) is generally required for General/OBC candidates, with relaxations for reserved categories. Proficiency in Hindi (Devanagari script) is mandatory.
The candidate must be between 21 and 42 years of age as of the first day of July of the recruitment year.
- Shortlisting based on valid GATE score in the relevant discipline.
- Personal Interview/Viva-voce.
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination.
- SC/ST/OBC (Uttarakhand): Up to 5 years as per state rules.
- PwBD Candidates: Up to 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Uttarakhand Government norms.
