PSTCL Assistant Engineer (General) Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Full-time Regular Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering) in Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, or Civil Engineering from a recognized University or Institution. A minimum of 60% aggregate marks is generally required. Proficiency in Punjabi language up to Matriculation standard is a mandatory requirement.
The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum age limit is 37 years as of the official cutoff date mentioned in the notification.
- Merit-based shortlisting using valid GATE scores.
- Document Verification (DV).
- Medical Examination.
- SC/ST: Up to 5 years.
- OBC: As per Punjab Government norms.
- PwD: Up to 10 years.
- Ex-Servicemen: As per state government rules.
