NTPC Limited Engineer Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in relevant disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics, or Instrumentation) with at least 65% marks from a recognized University or Institute. Final year students are eligible to apply provided they meet the percentage criteria.
The upper age limit for the post of Graduate Engineer Trainee is 27 years as of the last date of the online application.
- Qualifying in the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) of the corresponding year.
- Shortlisting based on GATE scores.
- Personal Interview (PI) conducted by NTPC.
- Final Merit List preparation based on GATE score and Interview performance.
- Document Verification and Medical Examination.
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (NCL): 3 years
- PwBD (General): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines
