MeECL Assistant Engineer Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in the relevant discipline (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) from a recognized University or Institution approved by AICTE. Proficiency in the local language of Meghalaya is often a prerequisite for state-level recruitment.
The minimum age is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years as of the crucial cutoff date specified in the official 2026 notification.
