DMRC Junior Engineer Electrical Engineering Eligibility Criteria

The primary qualification requirement is a three-year Engineering Diploma in the Electrical or equivalent discipline. The DMRC sets a standardized age framework for all applicants for the Junior Engineer (Electrical) post. The minimum age requirement for any candidate is 18 years, and the maximum age limit is 28 years. - Stage 1 - Computer Based Test (CBT): This is the primary filtration stage. It consists of two papers, Paper 1 (120 questions) and Paper 2 (60 questions), both conducted on the same day.
- Stage 2 - Medical Examination: Candidates who qualify in the CBT based on merit and category-wise cut-offs are invited to a medical examination in Delhi, NCR.
- Stage 3 - Merit List: A final merit list is compiled after both the written test and the medical examination are concluded successfully.
- Training: Upon final selection, candidates undergo a two-year training-cum-probation period before permanent deployment.
