Candidates must hold a regular full-time B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering) in relevant branches (Mining, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Telecom, Systems/IT) with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks from a recognized University/Institute.
The upper age limit for the General/EWS category is 30 years as of the crucial date specified in the official notification.

- Shortlisting based on valid GATE score in the relevant paper.
- Document Verification (DV) for shortlisted candidates.
- Initial Medical Examination (IME) at CIL-designated hospitals.
- Final Merit List generation.

- PwBD (General): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
