BHEL Engineer Trainee Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or five-year integrated Master’s degree in relevant disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, etc.) from a recognized Indian University or Institute with at least 65% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
The upper age limit for the BHEL Engineer Trainee post is 27 years for candidates belonging to the General category as of the crucial date mentioned in the notification.
- Shortlisting based on GATE score (relevant paper).
- Personal Interview (Shortlisted candidates in a 1:3 ratio).
- Document Verification.
- Medical Examination as per BHEL standards.

- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- PwBD (General): 10 Years
- PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines
