BEL Probationary Engineer Exam Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc Engineering degree in relevant disciplines (Electronics, Mechanical, Computer Science, etc.) from an AICTE-approved institution with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (50% for SC/ST/PwBD). A valid GATE score in the respective paper is mandatory.
The maximum age limit for the post of Probationary Engineer is 25 years as of the crucial date mentioned in the official notification.
- Shortlisting based on valid GATE score in the respective discipline.
- Personal Interview for candidates shortlisted in the ratio of 1:5 per vacancy.
- Verification of original documents.
- Medical Examination as per BEL standards.
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India guidelines
