DRDO Fireman Recruitment Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed 10th Standard (Matriculation) or equivalent from a recognized board. Additionally, candidates must possess a valid Driving License for Heavy Vehicles and a Certificate in Fire Fighting from a recognized institute. Physical fitness standards include a minimum height of 165 cm and specific chest expansion requirements as per the official medical criteria.
The age limit for the Fireman post is 18 to 27 years as of the crucial date mentioned in the official notification.
- Tier I: Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Tier II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
- Tier III: Physical Endurance Test (PET)
- Tier IV: Document Verification
- Tier V: Medical Examination
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD (UR): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: Period of military service plus 3 years
