CAPF HCM ASI Eligibility Criteria 2026

To be eligible for these positions, candidates must have passed the 12th-grade examination or hold an equivalent qualification from a recognized board. For certain technical or specialized ASI roles, completing a relevant diploma may also be required. It is essential to possess the relevant certificates to qualify for the document verification stage.

The age limit for applicants is set between 18 and 25 years. This requirement is consistent across the various posts to ensure a young and capable workforce. • Phase 2: Written Examination: A 100-mark computer-based objective test covering five distinct subjects.
• Phase 3: Skill Test: Typing speed for Head Constables and Shorthand for ASI candidates.
• Phase 4: Document Verification: Verification of original certificates and credentials.
• Phase 5: Medical Examination: A final health and fitness assessment (DME/RME).

Specific age relaxation is provided to various categories as per government norms. While the general age limit is 18-25 years, candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, and other specified groups (including ex-servicemen) are granted relaxation in the upper age limit.
