UPSC Civil Services (Main) Examination: GS Paper-I Cut-off Clarification
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) does not release individual subject-wise cut-off marks for General Studies (GS) papers in the Civil Services (Main) Examination. Cut-offs are determined based on the aggregate marks obtained in the seven merit-ranking papers (GS I-IV, Essay, and two Optional papers) out of 1750 marks, and the final selection is based on the total score including the Personality Test (Interview).

The UPSC officially began publishing category-wise cut-off marks for the Civil Services Examination starting from the 2015 examination cycle. Data prior to 2015 regarding specific cut-off marks for the Main Examination is not maintained or published in the public domain by the Commission.
