Bank of Baroda Apprentice Exam Eligibility Criteria
Updated 2026Educational Requirements
Eligibility for the apprenticeship is strictly monitored to ensure that only qualified individuals join the program. The key criteria are as follows: Applicants must possess a Graduation Degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent institution approved by the Central Government. Additionally, candidates must have an active registration on the NATS or NAPS portal. For those under the NATS scheme, the graduation degree must have been obtained within 4 years prior to 01.05.2026. This training program is strictly 12 months in duration, and prior work experience of more than one year post-qualification makes the candidate ineligible.
Age Limit and Calculation
The recruitment defines a specific age range for applicants to ensure that the apprenticeship program targets young graduates. As of 01.05.2026, the minimum age required to apply is 20 years, and the maximum age is 28 years. This cutoff date is strictly enforced to maintain uniformity in the selection process. Candidates are advised to verify their age using their matriculation or birth certificates prior to applying to ensure they fall within this required window.
Selection Process Breakdown
The selection process is a multi-stage affair designed to be meritocratic and objective. It consists of: 1. Online Written Test: A 60-minute objective-type test assessing fundamental knowledge in English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Financial Awareness. 2. Local Language Proficiency Test: A qualitative assessment to ensure the candidate can communicate effectively within the state of their appointment. 3. Document Verification: A rigorous checking of all identity, age, and educational credentials in their original form to confirm the validity of the application. Failure to clear any of these stages will result in immediate disqualification.
