The Women Development and Child Welfare (WD&SC) Department is a key wing of the Telangana state government dedicated to the welfare of women and children. The department operates through various ICDS projects across districts to ensure that essential services reach the most vulnerable sections of society, particularly in rural and urban pockets, through the network of Anganwadi centres.
