About Organisation
The Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) was established under Act No. 4 of 1988 to foster the growth of sports and games across the state. Headquartered in Andhra Pradesh, it functions under the state government to manage sports academies, promote athletic excellence, and organize regional sports events. Its mandate includes identifying talent, providing professional coaching, and maintaining sports facilities to ensure the holistic development of athletes in the region.
