Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, located in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh, is the primary spaceport of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Established in 1971, it serves as the main launch site for India's satellite launch vehicles. The center is responsible for the integration and launch of various missions, including the PSLV and GSLV series. It operates under the Department of Space, Government of India, and plays a critical role in India's space exploration, meteorological research, and satellite deployment initiatives.
