About Organisation
Kudumbashree is the poverty eradication and women empowerment program implemented by the State Poverty Eradication Mission (SPEM) under the Government of Kerala. Established in 1998, it functions as a community-based organization aimed at improving the socio-economic status of women through micro-enterprises and social development initiatives. Headquartered in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, the mission operates under the Local Self Government Department, focusing on sustainable livelihood, financial inclusion, and social security for marginalized communities across the state.
