About Organisation
The ICAR-National Research Centre on Mithun (ICAR-NRCM) is a premier research institution under the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India. Established to promote the conservation and improvement of Mithun, the centre is headquartered in Medziphema, Nagaland. Its mandate includes conducting basic and applied research on Mithun, developing sustainable production systems, and providing technical support to farmers to enhance the socio-economic status of the region through livestock development.
