About Organisation
The Electronics and Radar Development Establishment (LRDE) is a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Headquartered in Bengaluru, LRDE is the primary agency responsible for the design and development of sophisticated radar systems and related electronic technologies for the Indian Armed Forces. Its mandate includes advancing indigenous radar capabilities, signal processing, and electronic warfare systems to ensure national security and technological self-reliance in the defence sector.
