About Organisation
The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) is an apex Indian governmental body created in 1964 to address governmental corruption. It is an independent body, free from the control of any executive authority, and is responsible for monitoring all vigilance activities under the Central Government of India. The commission advises various authorities in central government organizations in planning, executing, reviewing, and reforming their vigilance work. Its headquarters are located in New Delhi, and it functions under the mandate of the CVC Act, 2003.
केंद्रीय सतर्कता आयोग (CVC) सरकारी भ्रष्टाचार को संबोधित करने के लिए 1964 में बनाया गया एक शीर्ष भारतीय सरकारी निकाय है। यह एक स्वतंत्र निकाय है, जो किसी भी कार्यकारी प्राधिकरण के नियंत्रण से मुक्त है, और भारत सरकार के तहत सभी सतर्कता गतिविधियों की निगरानी के लिए जिम्मेदार है। आयोग केंद्र सरकार के संगठनों में विभिन्न प्राधिकरणों को उनके सतर्कता कार्यों की योजना बनाने, निष्पादित करने, समीक्षा करने और सुधारने में सलाह देता है। इसका मुख्यालय नई दिल्ली में स्थित है, और यह CVC अधिनियम, 2003 के जनादेश के तहत कार्य करता है।
