Selection Process

The selection process for the Agriculture Technical Assistant post involves multiple stages. Initially, candidates are shortlisted based on their normalized scores obtained in the UPSSSC PET 2025. Those who qualify are invited to appear for the main written examination. The final stage involves document verification, where candidates must produce original certificates to prove their eligibility. A negative marking of 0.25 is applicable for every incorrect answer in the written test.

Exam Pattern

The written examination consists of 100 objective-type questions carrying a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 2 hours. The paper covers subjects including Crop Science, Soil & Water Conservation, Agriculture Extension, Animal Husbandry, Computer & IT Knowledge, and General Knowledge specific to Uttar Pradesh. A penalty of 1/4 mark is applied for each wrong response.
