Job Description

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has invited online applications for the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Examination 2026 to recruit 1358 Medical Officers in various Central Government organizations including Central Health Service, Indian Railways, New Delhi Municipal Council and Municipal Corporation of Delhi.

Eligible candidates are strongly advised to carefully read the detailed official notification before applying online to confirm eligibility regarding age, qualification, category, reservation, and other criteria. The UPSC CMS Examination 2026 for 1358 Vacancies Online Registration process starts from 11th March 2026 and closes on 31st March 2026. The written examination will be held on 02nd August 2026.

How to Apply

Candidates must apply online only through the UPSC Online Application Portal. No other mode of application will be accepted.

➒ Step 1: Visit upsconline.nic.in and complete One-Time Registration (URN).

➒ Step 2: Fill the Common Application Form (CAF) and Examination Specific Module.

➒ Step 3: Upload scanned Photograph (with live photo capture), Signature (3 signatures), and required documents (DOB, Category, MBBS marksheets etc.).

➒ Step 4: Pay the application fee online (if applicable) and submit the form.

➒ Step 5: Take a printout of the final submitted application for future reference.
