Selection Process

The selection process for the UPSC CAPF Assistant Commandant examination involves multiple stages. The first stage is the written examination, consisting of two papers: Paper I (General Ability and Intelligence) and Paper II (General Studies, Essay and Comprehension). Candidates who qualify in the written test are shortlisted for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Standards Test. Finally, those who clear the physical and medical rounds are called for a Personal Interview/Personality Test.
