The State Bank of India has released a notification for 7,150 Apprentice vacancies across India under Advertisement No. CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07. The online application process has started from 19th May 2026. Eligible graduates interested in the posts can now submit their online application at www.sbi.co.in or www.ibpsreg.ibps.in/sbiaapr26.

The application fee for the SBI Apprentice 2026 exam, once paid, will NOT be refunded on any account, nor can it be held in reserve for any other examination or selection process. The application fee must be paid online while submitting the application forms.

• SC / ST / Persons with Benchmark Disability (PwBD)- Exempted (No fee)

Follow the steps mentioned below to apply online for the SBI Apprentice 2026 exam:

Mandatory: Candidates must register themselves on the NAPS portal https://apprenticeshipindia.gov.in before applying online through the links provided on the SBI careers websites.

Step 1- Navigate to official website:

• Visit the official website of SBI Careers at www.sbi.co.in/web/careers
• Scroll down the page. Click on “Current Openings”.
• Then on the next page, click on “Apply Online” against “Engagement of Apprentices Under The Apprentices Act, 1961 (CRPD/APPR/2026-27/07)”

Step 2- Registration:

• Click on the NEW REGISTRATION button provided on the top-right corner of the application page to start your registration process for the SBI Apprentice exam (if new registration).
• Your registration number is generated, which is to be used further for registration and examination purposes (keep the details safely).

Step 3- Filling of Application Form:

• Now using the registration number and date of birth login into the application portal.
• Start your application by providing your basic details- name, date of birth, contact number, email ID, address, category, and nationality.
• Click on the “Save and Next” button.

Step 4- Upload Documents:

• Upload your SBI Apprentice Handwritten Declaration, photograph, and signature in the required format as prescribed by the State Bank of India.

Step 5- Fill in academic details:

• Now candidates have to fill the details of graduation discipline, university name, year of passing, percentage.
• Remember, you can apply for vacancies in one state only.
• Click “Save and Next”.

Step 6- Preview your application form:

• Preview your application form carefully one last time.
• You will not be allowed to make changes after submission.
• Verify all personal, academic, and uploaded details before proceeding.

Step 7- Pay the application fee:

Step 8- Confirmation & Download Online Form:

• Click on the “Submit” button. Your application form will be submitted successfully.
• You will receive a confirmation email with your Registration ID and password.
• Download and take a printout of the submitted application form for future reference.

SBI Apprentice Handwritten Declaration Format:

“I,______(Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression are mine.”
