The selection process for the RRB NTPC Undergraduate recruitment involves multiple stages. The first stage is the Computer-Based Test (CBT 1), which is a screening test to shortlist candidates for the subsequent stage.

Candidates who qualify in CBT 1 will be eligible to appear for the CBT 2 examination. The final selection is based on the performance in the CBT 2, followed by document verification and a medical examination as per the requirements of the specific post.

The CBT 1 examination follows a specific marking scheme where each correct answer is awarded 1 mark. There is a negative marking of 0.33 marks for every incorrect response. Unattempted questions do not attract any penalty.
