Job Description
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the recruitment notification for 84 Food Safety Officer (Group-B) vacancies under the Office of Commissioner of Food Safety, Odisha, Health & Family Welfare Department.
Age Limit (Detail)
Candidates must be between 21 to 42 years as on 01-01-2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules (5 years for SEBC/SC/ST/Women, 10 years for PwD).
Selection Process
The selection process includes:
- Stage I: Preliminary Examination
- Stage II: Main Written Examination (Technical Paper) + Computer Skill Test
- Stage III: Certificate Verification
Exam Pattern
- Preliminary Exam: 150 Marks, 150 Questions, 150 Minutes (Objective MCQ).
- Main Written Exam: 200 Marks, 100 Questions, 150 Minutes (Objective MCQ).
- Computer Skill Test: Qualifying nature (50% marks required).
Application Fee
General/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen/Sports Person: Rs. 500/-. SC/ST/PwD: Exempted.
