The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has officially announced the commencement of the OJEE Counselling 2026 process for B.Tech admissions. This centralized admission system facilitates seat allocation for candidates who qualified through the OJEE 2026 exam or hold valid JEE Main 2026 scores. The process encompasses several critical stages, including online registration, choice filling, mock seat allotment, and final seat allocation across three distinct rounds. Candidates are required to participate in document verification at designated nodal centers to finalize their admission. The counselling covers various technical and professional programs, ensuring a transparent and merit-based selection process for government, government-aided, and private self-financed institutes across the state of Odisha. Applicants must stay updated with the official schedule as the committee may adjust dates based on administrative requirements.

The selection process is conducted through a centralized online portal. Initially, candidates must register and lock their preferred choices of colleges and courses. A mock allotment is provided to help candidates gauge their potential placement. Following this, three rounds of seat allotment are conducted based on merit, category, and seat availability. Candidates allotted a seat must visit a nodal center for document verification and fee payment. Finally, candidates report to their allotted institute to confirm their admission.

The counselling registration fee is paid online during the registration process. A seat confirmation fee of Rs 25,000 is required upon allotment, payable via e-Challan at Axis Bank or State Bank of India, or through online payment modes.
