The National Testing Agency has officially issued the hall tickets for the ICAR AIEEA PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (PhD) entrance examinations for the 2026 academic session. Candidates who have successfully registered for these postgraduate and doctoral agricultural science programs can now access their examination documents through the official NTA portal. The examination is scheduled to be conducted in a computer-based format on July 4, 2026, across various designated centers nationwide. It is mandatory for all applicants to carry a printed copy of their hall ticket along with a valid government-issued photo identification document to gain entry into the examination hall. The admit card contains vital information including the candidate's personal details, assigned examination center, reporting time, and specific instructions to be followed during the test. Candidates are advised to verify all printed information for accuracy and reach their respective centers well before the scheduled reporting time to ensure a smooth entry process.

Minimum 19 years for PG and 20 years for PhD as on 31-08-2026.

The selection process for the ICAR postgraduate and doctoral programs is primarily based on the performance in the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Candidates are evaluated through a standardized entrance examination consisting of multiple-choice questions. Following the examination, a merit list is prepared based on the scores obtained by the candidates. Shortlisted individuals are then invited to participate in the centralized counseling and seat allotment process. Final admission and scholarship allocation are subject to successful document verification and fulfillment of all eligibility requirements.

The ICAR AIEEA PG 2026 examination is conducted in English medium for a duration of 2 hours. The test comprises 120 multiple-choice questions. The marking scheme awards 4 marks for every correct answer, while 1 mark is deducted for each incorrect response, necessitating careful answering.
