The selection process for the Assistant Professor position consists of two primary stages. First, candidates must appear for a written examination, which is conducted in an objective (MCQ) format. This written test is designed to assess both general knowledge and subject-specific expertise. Following the written exam, successful candidates are shortlisted for a personal interview. The final merit list is prepared based on the combined performance of the candidate in both the written examination and the interview round.

The written examination comprises two papers. Paper I focuses on General Knowledge and consists of 50 questions worth 200 marks. Paper II covers the concerned subject (Computer Science) and includes 150 questions worth 600 marks. The total duration for the examination is 4 hours, with 1 hour allotted for Paper I and 3 hours for Paper II. The exam is conducted in an offline, OMR-based mode.
