Job Description
The India Post GDS (Gramin Dak Sevak) recruitment process is merit-based, relying entirely on marks obtained in the Class 10 Board Examination. There is no written examination. The selection is made through merit lists prepared circle-wise and category-wise based on Class 10 aggregate marks. Candidates meeting or exceeding the cut-off percentage are shortlisted for the document verification round.
Selection Process
- Merit List Release based on Class 10th marks.
- Document Verification (DV) for shortlisted candidates.
- Issuance of Final Appointment Letter after successful DV.
- Basic Training for selected candidates.

How to Apply
Candidates are shortlisted based on their Class 10th marks. Shortlisted candidates will undergo Document Verification (DV). After successful DV, an appointment letter will be issued.
