Selection Process

The recruitment process will begin with scrutiny of applications. Eligible candidates will then be called for a written examination consisting of multiple-choice questions carrying 100 marks, with a negative marking of 1/3 mark for each wrong answer. Successful candidates will be invited for a trade test, which will be qualifying in nature, followed by certificate verification. The final selection will be based on merit in the written examination. Call letters for each stage will be sent by email or post.

How to Apply

Candidates must submit the completed application form offline by following the procedure outlined below.

  1. Download the prescribed application format (Annexure-I).
  2. Fill the application form in the candidate’s own handwriting using blue or black ballpoint pen. Use international numerals (1, 2, 3 etc.). Sign normally; signatures in capital or spaced letters will be treated as invalid.
  3. Affix one recent colour photograph (size 45mm x 35mm, not older than three months) in the space provided. Paste the photo; do not staple or stitch. Sign below the photograph.
  4. Documents Required to be Sent with the Application Form:
    • Two identical passport-size colour photographs (with name and category written on the reverse)
    • Self-attested or Gazetted Officer attested copy of Matriculation/10th Certificate (showing Date of Birth)
    • Self-attested or Gazetted Officer attested copy of Diploma Certificate
    • Self-attested or Gazetted Officer attested copy of mark sheets of all semesters/years
    • EWS certificate (if applicable, Annexure-IV)
    • ST certificate (if applicable)
    • Disability certificate (if applicable, Annexure-II)
    • Discharge certificate (for Ex-Servicemen)
    • Age relaxation certificate (if applicable)
    • Relieving order from previous Government department (if applicable)
  5. Candidates employed in Central/State Government/PSUs must forward their application through proper channel. Applications received directly from such candidates will be rejected.
  6. Place the completed application form and enclosures in a sealed envelope. Superscribe clearly with β€œApplication for the post of Navigational Assistant Grade-III”.
