Selection Process

The selection process for the Delhi Police recruitment involves a multi-stage approach. Initially, candidates must qualify for the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Following this, the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT) is conducted. Candidates must first pass the race, which serves as a qualifying event. Only those who succeed in the race are permitted to attempt the long jump and high jump. Finally, the physical measurement test is performed to verify height and chest standards for those who have cleared the physical endurance events.

Exam Pattern

The physical test pattern consists of a race (1600m for men, 800m for women), followed by a long jump and a high jump. Candidates are granted three attempts for both the long jump and high jump. The physical measurement test (height and chest) is conducted only after the candidate successfully qualifies for the race, long jump, and high jump events.
