Selection Process

The selection process for the PE&MT involves a multi-stage physical assessment. Candidates first participate in a race, the distance of which depends on the candidate's gender. Those who successfully complete the race proceed to the long jump and high jump events, where three attempts are permitted for each. Finally, candidates who qualify in all physical endurance events undergo the Physical Measurement Test (PMT), which includes height and chest measurements. No appeals against disqualification in these events are accepted.
