Central Teacher Eligibility Test, also known as CTET, is a national-level eligibility test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to determine the eligibility of candidates as teachers in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, and others.

CTET Exam 2026 for Papers 1 and 2 for the September cycle will be conducted on 6th September 2026 (Sunday) in two shifts. Qualified candidates in the exam can download the CTET 2026 Certificate from digilocker.gov.in (after release) by using their login details i.e. Roll Number.

CTET Certificate is an important document that candidates need to apply for teaching posts in Classes 1 to 8 in central government schools like KVS, NVS, and other institutions. The validity of the certificate remains for the lifetime from the date of issuance.

1. Visit the DigiLocker website.
2. Log in using your mobile number linked with Aadhaar.
3. If new, complete the quick sign-up process.
4. Go to ‘CTET Certificate’. After logging in, click on the “Issued Documents” section.
5. Look for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in the list
6. Select CTET Certificate/Marksheet and choose the relevant option, like: CTET Marksheet, CTET Eligibility Certificate, Enter Required Details
7. Enter your Roll Number and Exam Year/Session.
8. The CTET marksheet appears on the screen.
9. Download the CTET Certificate or save it directly.
