The selection process for CG ITI admissions is strictly merit-based. The Directorate of Technical Education prepares the merit list by calculating the percentage of marks secured by candidates in their Class 10 or Class 12 examinations. No entrance test is conducted for these admissions. Once the merit list is released, candidates are allotted seats based on their rank, category, and the preferences submitted during the choice-filling phase.
