Job Description

Bank of Baroda (BOB) has announced recruitment for 30 permanent posts of Customer Service Associate under the Sports Quota. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online by 2026-05-12 in line with the specified eligibility conditions.

This role is intended for accomplished sportspersons and integrates clerical duties with active participation in sports events. It focuses on handling customer service functions while contributing to the promotion of sports at the institutional level.

Selection Process

The selection process will consist of initial screening or shortlisting of applications based on the prescribed eligibility criteria, followed by field trials for selected candidates. Shortlisting will be based on qualifications, relevant sports experience, skill set, suitability, and other parameters as determined by the Bank. Fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria does not ensure advancement to subsequent stages. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for field trials at the designated venue. The Bank reserves the right to alter, modify, cancel, or introduce any selection criteria, method, or process at its discretion.

Application Fee

General, EWS, and OBC candidates must pay Rs. 850/- inclusive of GST plus payment gateway charges. SC, ST, ESM/DESM, and women candidates must pay Rs. 175/- inclusive of GST plus payment gateway charges. The application fee is non-refundable.

  2. Register online in the appropriate application format using a valid personal email ID and contact number.
  3. Candidates are required to upload the following documents:

    • Scanned photograph (4.5 cm x 3.5 cm, size 20–50 KB, dimensions 200 x 230 pixels preferred)
    • Scanned signature (size 10–20 KB, dimensions 140 x 60 pixels preferred)
    • Resume
    • Date of birth proof (10th marksheet/certificate)
    • Educational certificates (all in a single PDF)
    • Work experience certificates (if applicable)

  4. Ensure all details are filled correctly and verify before submission, as no changes are permitted after clicking the SUBMIT button.
  5. Pay the application fee online using debit card, credit card, internet banking, or UPI as applicable.
  6. On successful payment, an e-receipt and application form will be generated. Take a printout of both and retain them for future reference.
  7. No printed copy of the application needs to be sent to Bank of Baroda. Candidates may keep one copy for future use.
  8. Regularly check the Bank’s authorised website and registered email account for updates, call letters, and notifications regarding the recruitment process.

Qualifications

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. Sports Qualifications: Should have represented a State, U.T., or the country in the National or International competition; or Medal winner in Junior National Championships; or Medal winner in Khelo India Youth Games (age category above 18 years); or Khelo India Winter Games; or Khelo India Para Games; or Medal winner in Khelo India University Games; or Medal winner in School Games Federation of India (SGFI) in the mentioned games/sports. OR Should have represented their University in the Inter-University Tournaments conducted by the Inter-University Sports Boards. OR Should have represented the State or U.T. School Team in the National Sports/games for schools conducted by the All India School Games Federation.
