Job Description
Bihar Police Sub-Ordinate Service Commission (BPSSC) aims to fill a total of 64 vacancies for the post of Havildar Clerk (Direct Recruitment) in Bihar Home Guard under Home Dept. (Special), Govt. of Bihar. The written exam date for Advt. No. 01/2026 has been announced for 10th June 2026 (Wednesday).
The official notice regarding the exam date for Havildar Clerk posts under Advt. No. 01/2026 has been released. The written exam for 64 vacancies will be conducted on 10th June 2026 in a single shift from 10 am to 12 noon. The admit card along with exam-related details will be released on 25th May 2026.

Selection Process
The eligible candidates who will be applying for the Bihar Police Havildar Clerk Recruitment 2026 have to go through a selection process. The selection process will include 2 stages, i.e, a Written Exam and a Physical Test (PET & PMT). Candidates have to qualify for each stage to be selected for the post of Havildar Clerk.

Exam Pattern
The level of the written examination will be of the Bihar School Examination Committee 10th class (Matric) or equivalent level. The written examination will have objective questions from Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science (History, Geography, Civics, Economics), Science (Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany), and General Knowledge & Current Affairs. The written examination will be of 100 marks. Two hours will be given to candidates to complete their exam. 1 mark will be given for each correct answer.

Application Fee
