Selection Process

The selection process is based on a multi-stage evaluation. This is followed by an assessment of sports achievements (50 marks) and educational qualifications (10 marks). Candidates must secure minimum qualifying marks to proceed. Finally, successful candidates undergo document verification and a medical examination to ensure they meet the physical standards required for railway service.

Exam Pattern

The selection is based on a 100-mark evaluation system: 50 marks for sports achievements, 40 marks for sports trials (skill/fitness), and 10 marks for educational qualifications. Minimum qualifying marks are 70 for Level 5/4, 65 for Level 3/2, and 60 for Level 1.
