The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold a written Examination on 19/07/2026 for the recruitment of 349 Group-A category Sarkari Naukri vacancy posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Application Fee

An application fee of ₹200/- (SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted) to be deposited either by using Net Banking Facility of any Bank or by using Visa/Master/RuPay/Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment for appearing in CAPF (ACs) Exam, 2026.

Age Limit

20-25 years as of 1st August 2026. The upper age is relaxed for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 19/07/2026 by the UPSC, followed by the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.
