The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially commenced the Phase 1 counselling registration process for the 2026-27 academic session. This process is designed for candidates seeking admission into various postgraduate professional courses, including M.E., M.Tech., M.Arch., M.Pharmacy, and Pharm.D (P.B.) across participating institutions in Telangana. The initiative aims to streamline the seat allocation process for qualified aspirants based on their performance in the entrance examinations.
Participating in this counselling process is the mandatory pathway for securing a seat in top-tier engineering and pharmacy colleges in Telangana. It ensures a transparent, merit-based admission system that prioritizes qualified candidates, providing a structured route to advanced professional degrees.
The selection process is conducted in multiple stages to ensure merit-based seat allocation. Initially, candidates must register and upload their certificates for online verification. Once verified, applicants participate in the web option entry phase, where they rank their preferred colleges and courses.
The seat allotment is then performed by the system, prioritizing GATE/GPAT qualified candidates followed by TS PGECET rank holders. Factors such as category, local/non-local status, and the preferences submitted by the candidate are considered during the allotment. Finally, selected candidates must report to their allotted college to complete the admission formalities.
The Telangana Council of Higher Education (TGCHE) has officially released the TS PGECET 2026 results. Candidates who appeared for the entrance test can now download their rank cards from the official website using their hall ticket number.
