The first stage consists of a Computer Based Examination (CBE) worth 200 marks. It includes four subjects: Comprehension and General English, Parliamentary Procedure, General Knowledge, and Noting and Drafting. Each subject carries 50 marks, and the total duration is three hours.
The second stage involves the evaluation of Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs), which carries 100 marks. Only candidates who qualify in the CBE will be shortlisted for this stage.
The final selection is based on the aggregate score of both the CBE and the APAR evaluation, totaling 300 marks. Candidates are ranked based on this combined performance to determine their inclusion in the select list.
