Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages of Computer Based Examinations. Paper-I is an objective-type test covering reasoning, general awareness, and core engineering subjects. Candidates qualifying in Paper-I proceed to Paper-II, which focuses exclusively on technical engineering knowledge. Final merit is determined based on normalized scores from Paper-II. Additionally, candidates applying for BRO posts must undergo physical and medical fitness tests as per departmental requirements.
Exam Pattern
Paper-I consists of 200 questions for 200 marks with a 2-hour duration and 0.25 negative marking. Paper-II contains 100 technical questions for 300 marks with a 2-hour duration and 1 mark deduction for each incorrect answer.
