Selection Process
The selection process consists of a Written or Hybrid examination carrying 60 marks, which evaluates the candidate's knowledge of the organization and general aptitude. Additionally, 40 marks are awarded based on the candidate's Scouts & Guides certificates, including participation in national and state-level events. Following the examination, candidates must undergo document verification to confirm their credentials. Finally, a medical examination is conducted to ensure the candidate meets the physical standards required for railway service. There is no interview stage for this recruitment.
Exam Pattern
The examination consists of 40 objective questions and 20 questions related to Scouts & Guides organization and activities, totaling 60 marks. The duration of the test is 1 hour. A negative marking of 1/3 mark applies to every incorrect answer. Candidates must achieve the minimum qualifying marks of 40% for UR and 30% for reserved categories.
