The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially announced the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) Recruitment 2026 with 11,127 openings. The detailed notification was published on 14 May 2026. Candidates who meet the age criteria of 18 to 30 years and hold Matriculation + ITI or Diploma/Degree in Engineering can now submit their online applications from 15 May 2026 to 14 June 2026.

Application Fee
Rs. 500/- for General/OBC; Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen/Female/Transgender/Minorities/EBC. Refundable upon appearing in CBT-1.

18 to 30 years as on 01-07-2026. Age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Servicemen as per government rules.

Exam Pattern
- CBT-1: 75 Questions, 60 Minutes, Objective MCQ.
- CBT-2: Part-A (100 Marks) and Part-B (75 Marks, Qualifying).
- Negative marking of 1/3rd mark per wrong answer in CBT-1 and CBT-2.
