PSSSB Veterinary Inspector Notification 2026 Out

The interested candidates who fulfil the required eligibility criteria can fill out their application forms at the Punjab Subordinate Service Selection Board’s official website by following the simple steps provided below.

1. Visit the official website of the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board.
2. On the homepage, click on the “Online Applications” section.
3. Find and select the link for PSSSB Veterinary Inspector Recruitment 2026.
4. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) using a valid email ID and mobile number.
5. This will generate your User ID (same as email ID) and Password.
6. Log in and fill out the application form with personal, educational, and other required details.
7. Upload scanned copies of your photograph, signature, and necessary documents.
8. Pay the application fee online as per your category.
9. Submit the application form and download the confirmation page.
10. Take a printout of the submitted form for future reference.

Candidates belonging to different categories have to pay a non-refundable application fee through any online payment option. For this candidate can use a Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking or any other digital payment mode. The fee payment window will remain open from 2026-05-04 to 2026-05-25. Applications without fee payment will not be accepted. The category-wise application fee is described below:

Age Limit (as on 01/01/2026)

The age of candidates applying for the Veterinary Inspector post must fall within the limits prescribed by the Punjab Subordinate Services Selection Board.

• The minimum age of the candidate should be 18 years.
• The maximum age should not exceed 37 years.

However, candidates from the reserved categories can avail the age relaxation facility as per the terms given by the Punjab Government. The age relaxation for different categories has been discussed below:

The selection process for the Veterinary Inspector posts is covered through multiple stages. The recruitment is mainly based on a written examination and document verification. Candidates must qualify at each stage to get a final appointment, which will be based on the candidate’s performance in Stage 1 or the written exam. In document verification, candidates have to show their original documents to prove their eligibility. Candidates have to go through the following selection stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination
Stage 2: Document Verification

The written exam will be conducted in an objective-type format to access candidate’s subject knowledge and language proficiency. The question paper has two parts. Part A is qualifying in nature and contains the Punjabi Language subject. Part B determines final merit and contains Subject-related questions and the General Aptitude part.

• Candidates have to secure a minimum of 50% marks to qualify.
• Candidates will get 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete 150 questions.
• There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for wrong answers.
