PSSSB Group D Notification 2026

Candidates who have already applied online for Advertisement No. 10 of 2024 and paid the examination fee for the advertised vacancies must follow the instructions below to submit their online application form for the Punjab SSSB Recruitment 2026:

• Candidates must log in using the previously provided User ID and Password (no need to register again).
• Details previously entered by candidates will be displayed. Candidates must review and submit the application form after ensuring all information is correct and the fee is paid.
• Candidates can make changes to their online application form before submission
• For new candidates, apply online at https://sssb.punjab.gov.in under “Online Applications.”
• First, register for a vacancy, then complete your profile, generate a Username, and fill the form.
• Upload scanned copies of:

1. Passport-sized photo
2. Signature
3. Educational documents (matriculation, 12th, diploma/degree)

• Fee payment can be made from the next day after form submission.
• After paying the application fee using SBI branch challan, net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
• Download or save a copy of your PSSSB Application Form 2026 for your records.

The following application fee must be paid by using the required payment options to submit the application for Punjab Group D Recruitment 2026.

The selection process for PSSSB Recruitment 2026 consists of two stages:

• Written Examination: Candidates will be selected through objective-type questions asked in the examination.
• Document Verification: After clearing the exam, the original documents will be verified.

The Merit List of candidates will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written examination.

The exam pattern for PSSSB Group D is as follows:

Part A: Punjabi Language (Qualifying Test)

The examination is of Matriculation level and consists of 50 questions for 50 marks. There is no negative marking in this part, and candidates must score a minimum of 50% (25 marks) to qualify for Part B. The duration of the exam is 30 minutes.

Part B: General Knowledge and Other Subjects

Part B of the exam consists of 100 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark. For every wrong answer, 1/4th mark will be subtracted as negative marking.
