Selection Process
The selection process consists of two stages of Computer Based Tests (CBT). The Screening Exam is a qualifying stage to shortlist candidates for the Main Exam. The Main Exam is the final determinant for merit, consisting of 100 MCQs covering subject-specific knowledge, English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Mathematics. A negative marking of 0.25 applies for incorrect answers. Stenographer candidates must also pass a qualifying Skill Test in typing and shorthand.
Exam Pattern
The exam consists of 100 MCQs to be completed in 2 hours. 60 marks are allocated to the subject related to the post, while 10 marks each are assigned to General English, General Knowledge, Reasoning, and Mathematical Aptitude.
