Selection Process

The selection process consists of a two-stage evaluation. First, candidates must appear for a Competitive Examination comprising two papers, Paper-I (General Knowledge) and Paper-II (Legal and Administrative subjects), conducted in an offline OMR format. Each paper carries 300 marks with a negative marking of 0.75 for incorrect answers. Second, candidates who qualify in the written exam will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio for a 25-mark personal interview. Final selection is based on the combined merit of the written exam and the interview.

Exam Pattern

Paper-I covers General Knowledge, Science, History, Geography, and Logical Thinking (100 questions, 300 marks). Paper-II covers Legal Acts, Constitution, and Kannada language knowledge (100 questions, 300 marks). Both papers are 2 hours long.
