Selection Process

The selection process consists of a competitive written examination conducted in an offline OMR-based format. The test is divided into Paper-I, which covers General Knowledge, and Paper-II, which focuses on subject-specific knowledge. There is no interview stage for these positions. Candidates must secure a minimum of 35% marks to qualify. A negative marking scheme is applied, where 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. Additionally, candidates who have not studied Kannada up to the SSLC level must pass a separate qualifying Kannada language test.
