Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) has announced an apprenticeship program for the 2026-27 session, inviting applications for 70 positions across various technical and non-technical disciplines. This initiative, governed by the Apprentices Act of 1961, provides a structured one-year training period for engineering graduates, diploma holders, and ITI-qualified individuals. As a joint venture between the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, KMRL offers a professional environment for candidates to gain practical industry exposure in the urban transport sector.
This apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity to gain industry-recognized experience within a major public sector infrastructure project. Participants receive a monthly stipend along with a food allowance, providing financial support during their professional development phase.
